Some Famous guns 62, 95, Model 7, 2001, JGA
Do I have to change? Nope, we still sell the Model 7, 2001, and JGA.
And we have the new options as well
Problem 1: Siphon feed guns are generally sold with a 1.8mm tip set or (66ss, 36ss, EX). We have these guns, but they are the wrong setup. 1.8 is a metal working tip set and the incorrect size for wood products. The 1.8 is used in the automotive market, so woodworkers have to thin their material down or raise the inlet pressure very high to get the material to flow.
Solution: A much better tip set is a 2.0-2.2 in a siphon feed gun. We have some great setups for you found below if you want siphon.
Problem 2: Siphon guns have been on the market for a very long time. Times have changed and technology has improved. This does not mean we will sell you a gravity feed HVLP guns and make you very unhappy. Any salesmen not respecting your wishes for cup on the bottom is not listening to your needs. And not everyone wants to save the birds with HVLP.
Solution: We give you options. and have gathered together some great alternative siphon guns for your. These guns give you a similar use and feel as your old siphon guns, while taking advantage of the newer technology. We like to call these the New Conventional Guns. So relax, you can teach an old dog a new trick. Save 30%-40% of your materials and lower overspray while still feeling like your using a traditional siphon gun. Now we are talking.
Problem 3: Siphon feed guns have the lowest finish quality of the three types of guns we offer. (Siphon, gravity feed and pressure feed). Some never want to get a gravity feed gun and like to have the cup on the bottom. Pressure feed is a great alternative.
Solution: We have 1 quart on the gun pressure pots. The gun looks like a siphon gun with a funny regulator, BUT the pot will be pressurized, giving you 1) the BEST finishes on the market and 2) more control of you craft and 3) easier compensation for materials of varying viscosity other factors such as temperature and the weather. Who doesn't like control! That is one reason most professional cabinet makers choose pressure feed spray guns.
No we won't try to sell you a gravity feed cup on the top gun or HVLP! So lets explore all your options.
