It's Professional, It's Fast, It's Fun, It's the way to go! Professional Woodworking Spray Guns!

Spray guns produce fast, efficient flawless finishes on almost all painted and coated surfaces today. From the Golden Gate Bridge, space shuttle, to your child's Barbie doll, decorative doors, decking, shutters, cabinets, fences, trim, frames, pool cues, music boxes, guitars, and on and on. Plus, it's FUN! Working with professional tools and getting the type of finish you expect is terrific.
Brushes and spray cans are easy to get started, but there's a reason no one paints with them when finish quality counts. They simply cannot produce a smooth finish. Cans start to add up and brushes leave marks and uneven coats and the added work required to produce professional results is completely unnecessary, when you use a professional spray gun!

Most stores do not know a thing about spray guns. What the Tip sizes are, what viscosity and spraying conditioners are available. Plus you have to be careful, most spray guns are configured for the automotive or industrial markets. Wood is right in between, you want a smooth car like finish but the paints tend to be thicker than automotive and thinner than industrial. So you have a size 6 foot and the shoes are all 4 and 8. Not a good fit for your foot!
We get calls every day that start "I bought this inexpensive spray gun ($30-$120) at my local store and I'm not happy with the finish"... (Usually fiddling with the gun for days and wasting time and paint). The old adage that you get what you pay for is somewhat true.

• We only sell Professional Guns that have been used and tested in the field. We have access to lower lines that we REFUSE to sell. Cost on some Chinese imports selling for $60 at your local chain store cost only $12. That's right $12. If we sold "junk" with our normal markup we would sell that gun to you for $14.00, not $60.
• We sell direct to the public so EVERYTHING is discounted. Our $75 spray gun is really a $150 or more in the retail store. Our $200 gun are well over $300 at local paint shops. A paint store is selling paint and does not sell a large volume of guns to warrant a big discount.
• Finally, size does matter! You don't do it with your shoes, so don't do it with your tools. Most Retail and many online stores do not have the space or desire to stock all the different sizes of spray guns available. You will notice most of our guns have multiple tip options. That is becuase, if you are familiar with wood products, you know stains are different from lacquers which are different from latex. If you go to your local store, they only stock a few gun, and they are all usually a generic setup. In contrast, woodsprayguns match your spray gun to the materials you are using for the surface on which you are spraying and we give you the option and information of adding additional setups for future expansion. Our goal is to help you get the best finish possible with the least amount of headache.

*But why are good guns more expensive? These are called guns for a reason. It is actually not easy to manufacture good spray guns. Tolerance levels are very high and precision craftsmanship is necessary. In addition, guns have many moving parts and take much abuse in the shop. If you can imagine taking 40-50 pounds weight in your hand and smashing a 1 millimeter drop of liquid into a smoke like, perfectly smooth and even 8"-12" pattern you could imagine how difficult that task is and how exact and precisely you have to strike that liquid. The tolerance for error on such a task is very small.

Thankfully it's not. That's why we are here!

All the guns we sell at woodsprayguns.com are professional and of high quality. You cannot go wrong with any gun selection you make on our site. We have taken out the guess work for you, and removed all bad spray gun decisions usually found at your local hardware store or big box do it yourself chain.
Therefore, you really have only 3 main choices:
Choice 1: What Technology I want to use (Suction, Pressure, Gravity)
 |
Suction: Oldest Technology - cup is attached to the bottom of the gun - Not as recommended for today's hard to spray hi solid content coatings. However, we have some fantastic modern designs that are quite excellent for those who are comfortable with this style of gun.
Gravity: Most common today. Reason: easy to clean up and use. Drawbacks: the cup may get in the way and you are limited to 1 liter of fluid. However, there are disposable liners that allow you to spray in any direction even upside down!
We are one of the few companies that have all different size cups for your gravity feed gun. (4oz, 8oz, 12oz, 24oz, 34oz).
And you can always add a fitting and convert your gravity gun into a pressure feed gun except the hose will be pointing off the top of the gun rather than below and require a different tip size. Email us and we can help you convert your gravity feed gun for around $125 plus a tip set if you need one.
Pressure: Most common in industrial environments. Reason: Greatest control over fluid delivery. Benefits are great: control, smaller gun size (paint can be stored off the gun), and large paint capacities from 1 quart to 55 gallon drums and beyond. Drawback is that there is more parts to clean. However, we have cleaning systems available for the serious professional to aid in very quick cleanup. About 5 minutes. Ask about our cleaning solutions. We are the only ones that carry fluid disconnects! |
Choice 2: What price range
 |
One way we like to think about it, with some exceptions. Guns under $200.00 (our direct pricing) are meant to last about 5-10 years. Guns over $250.00 (our direct pricing) are made to last a lifetime. Either way, you are getting direct wholesale pricing at woodsprayguns.com so you are you are getting a good deal no matter what gun you choose. |
Choice 3:
What tip size do I need. (We have matched up the needles and cap sets for you).
Choosing your tip set is your main concern and we offer many recommendations on our site or you can email us at help@woodsprayguns.com
